Greet everyone that enters your office, store, or area.
Don’t wait until they enter ‘your zone.’ When they arrive, or even if they just look in, take a second to let them know you care.
Acknowledge them with a smile and a kind word and you will have taken the first, best steps to building a connection with your client or team member. You have shown they are important.
If you are busy with someone else, you can still smile and let them know you or someone else will be with them in a moment.
