“Early is on time.” That’s the answer my son gave when asked at school what his Dad was known for saying. The more I think about it, the happier I am with that response, especially after pausing to imagine other answers teachers must hear.
Being early makes a powerful impression and creates opportunity. It’s allowed me to avoid excuses, build relationships, help others, and more. Best of all, this win takes no skill, only discipline.
