Think Before Communicating

How we say words often matters as much or more than the words themselves when determining how someone receives your message.

Consider this simple sentence: “Ezekiel didn’t steal that car.” Repeat it several times, emphasizing a different word each time. Notice how the meaning changes?

Delivery becomes even more critical when considering body language, attitude, and tone.

Playwright and poet Ben Jonson said, “To speak and to speak well are two things. A fool may talk, but a wise man speaks.”

To accomplish your goals, be strategic with more than just words when communicating.
